Takii's Germination Testing Laboratory has been accredited as a laboratory by JAB (The Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment) on July 27, 2004.
It is based upon ISO/IEC17025, and is the first such accreditation in the field of germination testing for a laboratory in Japan.
It proves that Takii's seed laboratory has an outstanding level of quality in our system of testing and technical capability, and we are proud that the germination certificate issued by Takii will be recognized and accepted internationally.
Takii will continue to supply high quality seeds under a strict management system that meets ISO9001 quality standards, as well as ISO/IEC17025.

On April 1, 2004, Takii has started a brand-new service on the Internet open to the public free of charge. This service, “TAKII SEED NAVI”(only Japanese version is available), provides viewers with a wide range of informaion on vegetables. You can access it through Takii Home Page, and get to, for example, variety descriptions, cultural/growing information, crop protection, pest control, etc. One of the most interesting and featured guides is that you can instantly choose the right varieties among Takii's wide selections only if you input information of growing areas, sowing or harvesting time in Japan. The same service for flowers will be coming soon.
